About this role:

GoCo is looking for a Broker Channel Development Leader to lead our sales efforts through brokers. You will shape our value prop and go to market approaches, develop and lead efforts in identifying and nurturing targeted broker relationships to be a meaningful referral channel. In this role, you will be given the trust and support to do great work while having the autonomy to build and shape an important growth opportunity for the company. Because we are a small tech-start up your contributions will have a high impact on the business giving you great purpose.

What you will do:

  • Own sales and strategy execution for brokers, as a referral channel
  • Develop consistent and effect approach to engage, nurture and drive referrals from broker partners
  • Build a team responsible for creating a meaningful incremental referral pipeline and for building, managing and nurturing broker relationships that continue to yield significant referral volume
  • Work directly with the Head of Strategic Partnerships and VP of Marketing to build the messaging and go to market approach 
  • Work directly with the VP of sales to optimize the leads from the broker channel
  • Demonstrate rigorous and systematic pipeline management to identify highly engaged broker partners and 
  • Drive creative and effective solutions to engage brokers, grow relationship to generate customer referrals
  • Develop KPI’s and management reporting system for this channel
  • Leverage data to influence strategy, requirements and adjustments
  • Create a meaningful referral pipeline beyond our inbound leads, with expectation that this channel significantly contributes to sales pipeline and revenue growth

You are a great fit for this job if you have: 

  • 3+ years sales experience; ideally Saas and/or carrier experience with proven track record of success and achieving quota 
  • Proven record of building a channel sales team, and managing to KPI’s 
  • Experience selling through brokers  
  • Ability to thrive in fast paced environment
